Great little strainer. I intended to build a kitchen full of tools one could use for self-defense when needed (cast-iron skillets, non-stick measuring cups, industrially durable anything), but when it came to a fine-enough strainer for quinoa and other cereals, they just pulled it I don't make them with such weight and durability. So it was a compromise, but I would choose it again. She seems to be good at all sorts of activities EXCEPT defending against the evil ninjas. Stresses our swan perfectly. But I wouldn't try it with couscous. Very fine mesh. As others have pointed out, there is a large mesh and small layers of mesh, and it seems like it's going to be difficult to fully dry every time. However, after a few uses, I don't see any signs of rust, so I'm satisfied! Look no further for a quality small filter to get the job done.
