I bought this for my peloton which I have had for about 25 days. Look, I know there are purists who tell you to be patient because the pain will pass. Firstly, no. I will not spend $3,500 on a product that constantly hurts me. Besides, it's at your home. Do what you want. This isn't the Tour de France. I did 15 rides in the original seat and felt like my tailbone was on fire. I barely survived the trip. The power of my first ride was 92kJ for a 20 minute ride. After switching to this seat, I consistently run 130-150kJ for a 20 minute ride, much higher on longer rides. Like 230s on 30 minute rides. Thats much better. I have room for my buttocks, no pain, no movement to find a comfortable position. I can just go I'm a curvy woman, size 16. However, I'm not punk when it comes to training, pushing or dealing with pain. If you're in pain and hate being uncomfortable about your seat, change your seat. Do yourself a favor. It's worth it. Do not take a seat cushion that slips on the seat. I know you are discussing this. I made that mistake. It was a waste of money. Also, do not disassemble the mechanisms of the new seat. Move the entire Peloton bike seat. Easy to put on, easy to take off. Just use a wrench to loosen the screws on both sides and pull the seat with pleasure. The Bikeroo seat slides in the same way. Tighten the screws and you're good. Removing the mechanism from the bikeroo seat will give you a heck of a lot of time to put it back on and make your installation 99% more difficult than necessary. The instructions for Peloton could be better but I think they may not be allowed to make instructions specifically for the bike as I couldn't find anything online. Have fun driving! Your butt will thank you, as will your results.
