I lead an active lifestyle and my left shoulder has suffered the most from my lifestyle. I've had shoulder dislocations, rotator cuff tears, and multiple surgeries on my left shoulder, one of which was recent. I had issues with the comfort of the lines or lack of support or other specific design flaws that made prolonged or sustained use of the lines problematic. This one does everything right. First of all, the double strap design that goes over the neck is great. The wide straps together with the double straps reduce the pressure on the neck significantly. The extra strap that goes around your shoulders adds significant support to your shoulder while remaining stationary, and I attach this strap to my shoulders or under my arm on one side when I need to use my right arm extensively, or ignore it him completely when i need a little support. The whole velcro design allows you to adjust the strength of the support and offers more flexibility. I'm also impressed with how comfortable this sling is. Other bandages I have used irritated my skin or caused a rash and even caused tears due to sweating and the thin bands used on those that ended up cutting through the skin. The material used in this sling is great! It sits comfortably on my body for a long time and breathes very well. This means less sweating and discomfort. Even after several hours of use, I had no skin irritation. I definitely recommend this bandage as I have used several of these bandages and this is the best.
