The main thing to know about these shoes is they don't have an offset, that means basically that the heel of the shoe is not raised. For me what this results in, is that I land more mid-foot, whereas I am normal more of a heel striker when I run. Is that a better thing? Depends on what you consider better, so far I like it. Only time will tell if it's what I will stick with long term, I have been a Sacony Omni guy in the past, but a friend recommended these. The shoe does have generous cushioning if you like that.
