Every once in a while you get something that just makes you happy: it works well, it seems cheap, it's useful. For me it's a small purchase. They were used everywhere. I keep one in the microwave. It's quieter when you put something on the glass turntable and works well to catch drips when things are just boiling a little and I've used them as a lid on a cup of soup I've cooked in the microwave. I keep one or two on a glass cooktop to set things on as they come out of the top of the microwave. I use them on trays - my husband broke his ankle and needs to keep it in the air for as long as possible so I use a plastic tray to carry his food - it keeps things from sliding around on the tray. I use them as bottle/can openers, potholders, trivets. And I'm sure I'll find another use for them. :)
