I love it! The instructions said exactly how to assemble it and I did it without my husband's help. I'm not mechanical by nature so this was a great achievement for me. After putting it together, I followed the pictures on how to thread the yarn and wind it into skeins. It worked like a charm. I had a few operating errors, but they had nothing to do with the product. It's very quiet and will definitely improve my crochet projects without the yarn tying knots coming straight out of the skein. So if you are looking for a yarn winder at a great price, I would highly recommend it.
