This is a professional diagnostic scanner. I have had 5 other diagnostic scan tools and this is by far the best. I can pretty much do anything with it. This must be configured once per package. It doesn't take long at all and it's pretty much just setting the time log for my region. You can also download an app on your phone to pair it with your phone, which is nice. It takes a little longer to load on the first run than my other scanning tools, which isn't a big deal for me. While downloading you can view and select your car and then all the information about your car will be displayed on the screen. This allows you to see and delete codes. You can check the air conditioning, airbags, ABS, TPMS and gearbox and then of course you can do the dataflow and some programming which of course I wouldn't recommend if you don't know anything about it. It can do so much. It's a touchscreen, which I like. It's easy to use if you're familiar with diagnostic scan tools. While downloading, you can also connect it to WiFi by entering the password. After connecting to Wi-Fi, you can find the error code on the screen. There is an icon on the side of the code that you click on and it will give you all the information you need. You can also just click on the code that appears on the screen and you will be taken to another screen that describes the code. Again, this is a professional scan tool that I would highly recommend to any mechanic. This is my best friend. This involves just a cable that plugs into a data port, typically found under the car's dashboard. This is the most common data port. It is worth the asking price and best of all the shipping was very fast. Will definitely be recommending this to family and friends.
