I bought this to know when our son was near the pickup point where we pick him up at the end of the day. It works well in theory, is relatively easy to set up, and tracks a range of data, BUT even when I set this tracker to its best battery saver interval of 30 minutes, it didn't last 12 hours before the battery was almost dead. And there it is isn't real-time tracking telling us where it was 30 minutes ago (or 5 minutes at best) it still doesn't work for our needs. I read in the description that there are 60 second updates but apparently it really killed the battery so they removed that functionality. If you just want a general idea of where someone is, then that's great. But if you really want to keep track, you need to update the free app and understand battery limits.
