This textured rolling pin is smaller than expected but works relatively well. You need to press harder so that the imprint is visible on the dough after baking. I learned how to fold just once and you can overlap a little to get a continuous pattern. I used this for my cut out cookies and my pie crusts. I dust the rolling pin with flour so the dough doesn't get stuck in the pattern. I can use purchased decorative design all year round. I clean up easily.
