Review on ๐Ÿšด LEZYNE Zecto Drive Max Bicycle Taillight: Enhance Safety with 8 Output Modes, 250 Lumens & 24 Hour Runtime by Ruben Saunders

Gersh damn it comes out brighter than anyone else

I wanted a bright tail light. Holy guacamole!. It actually projects a red patch of light onto distant surfaces - I've never seen a taillight before. I actually use it on a medium setting because I'm concerned that the maximum setting would hurt the eyes of riders behind me and cause them to blindly crash into the rear of my bike. The attachment mechanism is very cleverly designed and works great. both for mounting on the seat post or on the tube. I actually mount it on the back of a Yepp seat and it's not ideal for that as there is no angle adjustment and the beam is quite narrow so you have to set the right angle. So I'm going to experiment with wedging things underneath to get just the right angle. I've owned several Lezyne flashlights and they all work well - great beam patterns, lots of modes, ease of use, durability.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
