Review on Gooby Fashion Sweater Bomber Stretchable by Dana Wood

Based on the sizing chart my 18 lb French Bulldog/Boston Terrier mix needed an L, but I was concerned they might run small based on other reviews would. So I ordered XL. It turns out that XL is way too spacious. I'm planning on buying a large coat soon, but I kept the XL anyway for two reasons: Even though it's too big for her, it's a really good coat. Also, the black knit chest was covered in white hair after my pup tried it on once and I didn't think Gooby would appreciate her return in that state. As for the coat itself, this is a good buy. I've been using it for 2 months now and it's warm, waterproof and incredibly easy to put on. I call my dog, make sure both of his front paws are in the openings of the "sleeve", then grab the top and fasten it from there. It takes 5 seconds and is much easier to put on and take off than their other cold weather sweaters. For those with Frenchies or Bostons, stretching in this vest solves the problem of a dog with a disproportionately wide chest. And because it doesn't have a hood like many other waterproof coats, it doesn't completely hide her short neck, so I can wear it with her regular collar. My only complaint? My dog now knows it's her "outer cold and damp" coat and when I put it on her she only makes it to the lobby of my apartment before getting up and giving me a serious sideways glance when I it tries to persuade her to go outside. The good news is that once she actually goes outside, she stays warm and dry enough to enjoy her walks as usual. That. My dog is now 20 pounds, with a 20 inch chest, 14.5 inch neck and 15 inch collar to tail. To be clear the XL doesn't fall off her, it's just too loose to use the metal leash loops. on the back, and in a large one it is warmer, since it lets less air through.
