This funny shaped plastic sticker works. it is transparent; Therefore, it does not stand out and fits any color of the car. Came in a plastic bag with no instructions. It's more of a thick, fun piece of duct tape. I double checked the Revain product images and the instructions only talked about cleaning and applying surfaces. I did that and it works without drama. By the time I put the fourth sticker on I was pretty good at it. I will share what makes the installation easier. Before removing the backing, attach the protective film to get an idea of what it will look like once installed. Align the door handle and protective film at eye level. This will help center the tread. Lower the protection from above. First press the center of the shield, then swipe left and right. now sticks to the doorknob pocket. Then press 135° and 225° outward from the center and remove the bubbles. Repeat the same for the top half. Check for bubbles after installation. Squeeze out air bubbles towards the edge. If the bubbles are not removed, the scratch guard can be lifted off and reapplied. It is most likely not required that the entire tread be up, but it may be if necessary. I actually lifted the entire tread 2 times and the top once for the first install. The protector will still stick to the car door handle pocket easily. This clear car door scratch guard works and is pretty easy to install. Cleaning the surface is important for adhesion. So far I haven't had any problems with it. I recommend.
