If you are "advanced" - highly recommend for iot and smart home. The router has good power and signal range. Using OpenWrt, the router can be easily configured so that only the servers you need are available to your smart switch, you can replace the NTP server with a local one and the camera will have the correct time if it does not know how to time zones. A separate router with an "electronic gulag" on board will allow you not to worry about the danger of hacking your network from the inside, infecting computers and stealing data.
