Wish me luck

the problem I've always had with my gray parrot is their lack of desire to grab a large shower bowl or dish. I bought this perch hoping that over time I could teach him to shower in the bathroom. I really like this perch, the three suction cups that are included give it a good enough grip on the wall that I don't have to worry about it falling off with my bird. There is a small tab on each of the suction cups. So if you need to remove it, you can pull the tab to release the section and move it around easily. I had to change the position of where I wanted it in the shower a few times so it was out of my way and also could be close enough to the shower for water to flow over it easily. I love that the perch has a sandy texture on the outside that gives good grip when my bird is in the water so he doesn't slip, fall or get scared. I also love the fact that the perch is movable so you don't have to take it out of the shower when not in use. I just rotate the perch so it's flush with the shower and out of the way until I use it. Second hand. Overall a pretty good perch, now my only problem will be getting them used to using it enough.

Pros
  • The surface of the perch has been sanded down, your bird paw can grip it firmly
Cons
  • So far so good
