I'm too old for lycra. In the city I ride a lot of kilometers on the fitness bike. I have several pairs of baggy lined Pearl Izumi shorts that I bought on sale that are beginning to wear out. These shorts have a more comfortable lining, dry faster, have zip pockets and are good baggy shorts at a good price. The material is rougher than my PI but still comfortable. Although the waist is elastic, it is adjustable which is a big plus. The seal must not be removed. These plus size shorts are a little tight for me as I wear size 36 pants. I wouldn't downsize them. I will buy a few more.
