Review on πŸ”© Ansoon Self-Drilling Drywall Anchors - Maximize Efficiency with a Convenient Design by Tony Wilson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I'm pretty sure why over half of them break.

Like many of the other reviewers here, more than half of them broke their tips when I tried to stick them in a drywall. No, there weren't any switchbacks after that. I made sure to pre-drill and screw them in by hand to avoid over-tightening. I think I know why this happens - I found that they are made in China and based on my experience making our products there it is very common for factories to make tiny adjustments without telling their customers that they should use less material. to save a little money on raw material costs. I can only assume that in this particular case the material is cheaper and the thickness has been reduced to the point of being non-functional to reduce the amount of material needed to make it. -Nose nippers to give them out and try again. The couple simply tore the drywall down to a usable condition. The work I did took a lot longer than it should have installed. When they work they work well - much better than plastic anchors but I doubt the Β£50 rating they claim.

Pros
  • Deep thread design provides strong engagement, snaps onto many sizes of 3/8", 1/2" or 5/8" drywall.
Cons
  • I don't remember
