Easy to use but easy to break in half. Not reliable as a protection for your dog.

Easy to use and makes a robust impression. We've had it for two weeks with no problems, but yesterday when I opened the door to allow our 50 pound dog to jump out of the car, it wobbled before I could remove the bracket and it broke in two completely. She's not a large or aggressive dog, and if a 50-pound dog could snap her in half that easily, I seriously doubt it would be of any use in the event of a car accident. Looks great but doesn't do the job in my experience.
