Seems to work best in collars, harnesses and leashes

As far as I can tell it works. I have a very energetic dog, so I wanted her to at least keep the dog from getting in the way of my driving. It definitely worked for that. And when my dog jumped out as soon as I opened the door, he pulled it all the way but it didn't break. Convenient attachment to the child seat mounts is great.

BEST DOG SEAT HARNESS

The best harness for dogs! You can tell it's made of quality material and made to last. I also like the way this clip (carabiner style) attaches to the metal ring between the backrest and the underside of the rear seat (like a child car seat) which feels much more secure than a seat belt clip (e.g. buckling the seat one person). Belt). RECOMMENDED instead of any other harness for your pup.

The dog can't get away!

I have used this several times with my GSD. The previous restraints were a sort of buckle that he stepped on and unbuckled, allowing him to hop into the front seat. So far it has stayed in place and seems to be holding up well. Other reviews say the looks have fallen apart on them, but this might be an exception as mine seem strong enough to securely hold my 75lb hyperexcitable boy from behind.

Large Dog Harness

Product was difficult to use at first. Easily connects to the wiring harness. The latch cannot be released. Opening the latch was difficult until I figured out how the latch opens and closes. The length of the seat belt extender had to be shortened for my 1 year old bloodhound. I need to shorten the length even further as my pup can still hop in the back of our SUV. Bottom line, my pup is safe and sound and I don't have to sit in the back seat with him. I definitely recommend this product.

I finally feel safe with my pup in the back seat!

I'm VERY glad I finally found this! I've tried everything to keep my pup safe in the car and this is my favorite. It offers as much stretch as you need and the clip is extremely durable. I had no issues with my pup stepping on the seat belt to unbuckle and had no issues in general. I've tried all types of seat belts and zipline kurgo but this is ONLY THAT! If your pup loves being in the car a lot, I highly recommend this!

Easy to use but easy to break in half. Not reliable as a protection for your dog.

Easy to use and makes a robust impression. We've had it for two weeks with no problems, but yesterday when I opened the door to allow our 50 pound dog to jump out of the car, it wobbled before I could remove the bracket and it broke in two completely. She's not a large or aggressive dog, and if a 50-pound dog could snap her in half that easily, I seriously doubt it would be of any use in the event of a car accident. Looks great but doesn't do the job in my experience.

False security

This article was poorly made! It looks great but when it was closed all my dog had to do was pull on it and it fell apart. Talk about giving you a false sense of security! It is impossible for it to survive in the event of an accident, be it minor or serious. On top of that, I sent the product back and got a refund only for them to bill me again! The tracking number showed it was sent back to them but now after a few months I don't have the tracking number anymore and they are re-invoicing me…

Not safe, not super strong!

I have purchased four of these "Heavy Duty Large Dog Harnesses" and so far two have come off where the harness is sewn to the bungee (see photo). We didn't even move; On both occasions my dog (a 93 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback) was tied to a parked truck. By simply jumping into the car (to a spectator who was too close for her), she exerted enough force on the belt to break the stitching. Despite being a strong dog, any "big" dog tied to one of these is sure to experience the same cracking sound…
