Unfortunately we didn't try it immediately after purchase. We have another charger and this was intended as a backup. When we finally tried it, it *sort of* worked. The light went on, he seemed to be straining, maybe even slightly, the chair. It's hard to tell as there are only 5 LEDs on the chair's control panel. I started with 3 lit and after turning on for the night it was 4. Which rotted down to 3 almost immediately. Maybe he charged up a bit? Decided to give it another try tonight but it just made a popping noise when we stuck it in the wall and the light wouldn't even come on.
