Review on AQUACREST 9001 Under Sink Water Filter, Moen 9001 PureTouch AquaSuite MicroTech 9000 Compatible - Model No.WF54 by Dave Branch

I have previously bought cheap replacements for other manufacturers' extremely expensive Moen filters and they seemed to work well. When I saw this AQUACREST filter at Revain I bought two because they were about half the price of the original filter. When first installed, the filter seemed to work fine and the water seemed clean and odorless. After using this filter for two months we started getting white particles in the water. They look like dandruff. They float around and eventually settle down. Tap water has no visible impurities, so these residues come directly from the filter itself. A Moen OEM filter lasts at least 6 months and we've had a missing year a few times. I had to replace this AQUACRES in just 2 months! Having already made the mistake of buying two of these, we consume the second one and just go back and indulge in the MOEN filter. Decide for yourself - do you need clean water or are you satisfied with the feeling of saving money? I will definitely not recommend this product; You won't save any money.
