Does what it's supposed to. I had a bit of a panic attack trying to install it and I had nothing to attach myself to. When removing the previous standard cooling, the AMD backplate fell off behind the mainboard and landed on the padded cover of the case. I didn't hear or notice it. When I started the installation the screws just dangled and there was nothing to fasten. The backplate just rested on the mobo's holes, so I had to get help to set the case up, have someone hold the backplate in place, and then I attached a bracket and screw from this kit. This allowed me to work with one bracket first, loosen the screw I used for support, and then attach the second bracket. However, once installed, the NH-U14S fitted perfectly. zero problems. Also the packaging is very neat and tidy.
