The critical part is bent.
I like this kettle. It is ideal for two people. The coffee stays hot and delicious. The problem is that the base that holds the filter and screws in the top is bent, which causes the grounds to get into the finished coffee. We don't like stuffing our mouths full of dirt as we near the bottom of the cup.
