This product is unique in that it does not use standard bristles for cleaning, instead using a continuous spiral wire. It's a little awkward to use at first as you can't rub up and down like you can with standard bristles. There is a learning curve, so 4 star rating. It does its job well and the ads say it's safer because there are no bristles that can come loose and get into food or your mouth. I would never have considered this a problem until it happened to my sister in law. This is a unique product and once you get the hang of it and master its use, you will be satisfied with it.
