I once bought similar clips at our local renaissance festival and lost them. I made sure the size is large and as expected it is the perfect size for what I was looking for. The clip feels strong, well made and smooth so it doesn't get tangled in my thick curly hair. My only complaint is that the teeth are only an inch long. I was expecting them to be around three inches to give a much better reach and grip. It's a bit limiting and I should have expected it based on the photos. I didn't look closely enough. The short length means that while the clip holds all my hair reasonably well, it's not as secure as the longer prongs. For example. I would go dancing, but I wouldn't go on a roller coaster ride and expect a clip to stick. Overall I am satisfied and will continue to use this product! EDIT: I wouldn't go dancing. It stays on my hair for a limited time so I have to re-set it every few hours. It's still comfortable and cute, but doesn't hold up well because of the short pins. I've been using it for a few days and even if I don't move much it still slips off. Good for the price and my star rating remains. Maybe if I could give 3.5?
