Review on 📺 Enhance TV/Monitor Viewing with Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter v2 - HDMI/USB Miracast Dongle by Austin Olson

I highly recommend this product for connecting a flat screen TV with HDMI ports to a Windows computer. I use it with my Surface Pro 4 (i7 processor, 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD) with Windows 10 Pro. Nice out of the box experience. Before I got the Wireless Display Adapter V2, my Surface Pro Dock couldn't use more than 2 speakers connected to my receiver (which has 5 speakers) via a physical HDMI cable. While my MacBook Pro running Windows 10 Pro was able to use all 5 speakers for TV audio via an HDMI cable. Even Microsoft's readily available phone support couldn't help me use all 5 speakers before I got the wireless adapter. But as soon as I got the wireless adapter, 3 other speakers (including the woofer) started working like magic! I installed Windows 10 Update 1803 two days ago and was concerned because it seemed like it was taking too long to connect my flat screen TV. I immediately called Microsoft tech support (almost no wait) and the TV started working for about a minute before I contacted tech support. With my permission, a tech rep took a look - from a distance - and everything looked fine. The tech rep found an issue with one of my dock's USB ports in Device Manager (an issue unrelated to this wireless display adapter) and about a minute after a reboot the USB issue was resolved. I highly recommend this product and thanks to Microsoft for the excellent and easily accessible technical support!
