Review on Bridgestone Dueler A/T 001 265/70 R16 112S summer by Micha Micha ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

My biggest worry was that I would buy tires for off-road, but I would not be able to drive comfortably on asphalt due to vibrations, noise and hydroplaning in the rain. I’ve heard everyone saying that it’s better to buy a second car in general for going out of town, and don’t drive an urban crossover on the ground. As a result, the Dueler 001 turned everything around - in these tires, the creators somehow managed to combine the characteristics of an “aggressive” tread and the softness of city tires. There is no aquaplaning, I didn’t notice any noise either (although I saw that they wrote about it), I didn’t find any special vibrations or discomfort in control. The only negative that I would like to write about is a long braking distance on dry pavement. I braked with ABS a couple of times, because the tires did not cling to the surface tightly enough. But, of course, you can also get used to this and calculate the distance in advance. There are many more advantages to this model.

Pros
  • Oh, there are many. No aquaplaning, noticeable noise, good tread pattern, comfortable behavior at 120+ on the track.
Cons
  • The braking distance on dry pavement could be shorter. Because of this, I took off a point in the assessment.
