But I had no leaks. I had never had a canister before so I was nervous. I am 70 years old and for me the instructions were difficult to read and sparse. I still haven't figured out how to remove the clear plastic cover to turn on the UV light; but overall a great experience and it immediately started removing small particles in the water column. I eventually stopped reviewing on Amazon because my good reviews get through, but my bad reviews always get censored for some obscure reason. However, I felt it deserved a review for hobbyists who only see leak reports, oh I'm running this on a 100 gallon African cichlid tank. TO UPDATE. A REVIEW PRAISE THE COMPANY FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I TRYED BUT NOTHING HAPPENED!
