Review on Airtex E3500M Fuel Pump by Jarrett Love

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product and at the right price

I would like to start by saying that I work in the auto parts industry and over time I have done my homework on parts quality and functionality. I've had good luck with Airtex fuel pumps in the past and was specifically looking for this pump simply because it's the same part we sell at the auto parts store I work at and it also has a lifetime warranty. Replacement of the pump, body bolts pulled out of the frame, frame pulled back 2-3 meters and drove to the city. Wiring instructions, schematics, weatherproof crimp connectors and a pigtail were included (as usual) and as this was a 155,000 mile factory pump I had to replace the pigtail which worked without issue. With the pump in place and the locking ring back in place, I turned the key 3 times (off to on with the engine off) to prime the fuel system and then checked the fuel rail pressure (for my 2001). Chevy Silverado 1500HD is 50-62 psi) restored to the condition it should have been. So, again in my review, I've always had good luck with the Airtex line of products and that's because of the guarantee, the quality of the product. and easy installation. The only thing I'm not 100% sure is how the lifetime warranty will work given that it was sold and shipped by Revain and also in relation to the nature of the petrol dipped product how can I guarantee the product if he ever shows up. I will eventually get my reply from Revain if I contact them about this and let everyone know.
