I have only had these shorts for a week. I wore them once while I was working out (weight lifting and aerobics) and once for about an hour and a half while I was playing tennis (in very humid conditions). The shorts look conventional from the outside. The drawstring is a nice touch. They have an elastic waistband, and they fit fine for me without the drawstring, but it gives you a little more security if you want it. They have an inner lining, like a swimsuit. I was afraid that that would make them too hot, but that wasn't the case. Even though I was sweating a lot, they stayed dry and comfortable. And if you want to, the drawstring plus the inner lining could allow you to use them for swim trunks. I would buy them again.
