Review on Heavy Duty 3-48V Digital LCD Circuit Tester with Extended 140 Inch Spring Wire for Cars and Trucks - Low Voltage & Light Tester with Stainless Probe by Chris Nonamaker

When I opened the box I was impressed with the optical quality. I took it to the shop to see how it would work on my own pickup. I grounded it to the case and touched the positive terminal of the battery. I quickly noticed that the LCD window was turned away from me and when I set up the tester it stopped working and I couldn't get it to work again so I'm very angry now. Upon visual inspection I noticed that the end of the cable was unscrewing so I removed it to see if there might be a built in fuse but it was just a spring holding tension between the cable and the voltmeter mechanism. I cleaned and reassembled it and it worked again with no hiccups. The numbers aren't clearly visible until the LCD window is in the ideal position, which can be a problem if you're in an awkward position and can't move to see it perfectly. All in all, the only two annoyances I've seen with this tool are something like a miniature version of the Power Probe, which I also own. I can't wait to use it!
