I don't see a way to adjust the height as shown in the photos. The "telescope" switch seems to just open and close, maybe to hold it together better, but I really don't see the point of it. I tried pulling on both ends of the bars and couldn't get either of them to move to increase their length. The brush itself is quite heavy and I got it mainly for my shower walls so I didn't need a better length anyway but the rod itself and how everything is attached seems very cheap. The brush doesn't hold up well. It tends to rotate rather than stay in one place. Not sure how long the whole piece will last, like the feel of the plastic and the bar.
