Review on DANIEL SMITH 284055011 Watercolor Transparent by Carrie Spencer

Perfect for coloring!

A quick and easy way to turn cheap colored paper into traditional watercolor or ink using a wet brush. I wanted to use my playtime to hone my initial watercolor skills instead of relying on crayons or markers. But even books intended for watercolors curled up and got dirty from my harsh treatment. Offering ample protection and a slightly jagged surface, the clear DS bottom allows for more buoyancy, which has greatly improved my results. Very satisfied! Damn! I cheat the app to make life easier (it's game time after all). Spray a teaspoon of water on the lid of a mayonnaise jar, wet a 1 1/2 inch flat taklon brush and use it to scoop a good scoop (3-4 tablespoons) of soil into the lid. Stir with a brush until the water is absorbed, scrape the brush off the cap and apply a thin coat to as many sides as possible until the primer is gone. Lay them out to dry, clean the brush and lid, and have a cup of coffee. When the coffee is ready, something will be dry enough to paint on. Set other pages aside to cure for later, but I had no problem just dipping in once everything felt dry to the touch. Obviously this isn't recommended for real art, but it's perfectly fine for a casual game.
