Cool pre-programmed modes and static color choices to control WS2812B LED strips

I bought the ALITOVE SP105E controller with ALITOVE 5m WS2812B LED strips individually addressable and ALITOVE 5V 10A AC to DC Power Delivery - as a surprise for my daughter's 6th birthday. She wanted rainbow lighting for her room. The first mode of the SP105E is a very nice rainbow color theme that animate across the entire strip. The SP105E remembers the last mode it was set to (via the iPhone app) so I set it to rainbow mode and on her birthday she went to her room to try it for the first time - and the Wall glowed in rainbow colors. She was SO excited. And everyone was impressed! She also likes other patterns and static color options that she changes over time and on holidays. And with the brightness set to 50% at night, it doubles as her night light (and the entire strip draws around 12W at that setting). The SP105E controller includes 200 different patterns and a configurable static color mode (some examples: see attached images). The app also lets you control the speed of all modes, including animation and LED brightness. It works via Bluetooth from your mobile device to control/adjust the effects. Now I also have a SP108E controller that works over Wi-Fi either directly with the controller or over your home network and includes additional effects for your LED strip. You can easily get the most out of your digital LED strip with one of these controllers. ALITOVE stands behind its products and provides excellent and prompt customer service! After a few months of using the originally ordered setup, the effect of the LED lighting became unstable. I wrote to ALITOVE and they responded quickly with apologies, some troubleshooting suggestions and then sent a replacement unit to try. After it arrived I unhooked the original and installed a replacement - but the unstable problem persisted. I have contacted you again with details and photos and ALITOVE have continued to work on resolving the issue with additional troubleshooting and recommendations to verify the power requirements for my setup. It turns out my LED strip setup consists of 213 LEDs (cut out from 300 LED strips I bought) that can draw up to 63.9 watts of power at full brightness and light. The 10A (50W) power supply I originally bought for this setup didn't have enough power to cover all applications. I ordered an ALITOVE 15A (75W) power supply - and again the controller works great with the 213 LED strip. When ordering, make sure you buy a power supply with enough amps for your needs. For the WS2812B light strip above, multiply the number of LEDs expected in your final strip by 0.3 (to get the upper limit on the wattage required), then select the next highest wattage power supply. For me, 213 * 0.3 = 63.9W, making a 15A PSU (75W) a sufficient choice for stable operation. Of course, the lack of power in your power supply can lead to unexpected behavior of the controller and the tape. Pros: Ease of use, control of each LED (color and brightness) in an individually digitally addressable LED strip, both SP105E (Bluetooth) and SP108E (WiFi) have apps with features that create beautiful patterns and the ability to create a custom Color pick for strips, very easy to use, set up once, remembers previous settings after power off, all tools and adapters included, relatively small size (I hid mine behind a crown bar), great customer service and support. Dislikes: Initial installation instructions are better found online than what's included; In static custom color mode, SP105E does not remember the previous color selected after power off (SP108E remembers)
