After spending a lot of time attaching this thing to my mattress and putting it back in my rooftop tent I was disappointed to find that the My tent manufacturer installed a 12v socket in my tent with no fixators. In other words, anything you put in an outlet can come out pretty easily. The instructions for this pad clearly state that you have a good connection. I pressed the connector as hard as I could and glued it on to test. The pillow does seem to get warm, but most of the time it was only slightly noticeable when laying on it. The reason for my return is that the center joint was very hot when I unplugged it. Of course it only ran on 6 or 7 amps (I tested it), I wasn't comfortable with how hot it got. Not worth the fire. Let's go back to the old heater buddy.
