Someone can be seriously injured or die using them. I have a 2000lb trailer and have used it to stabilize the rear corners (meaning they can only support a maximum of 700lbs each). I'll post a photo soon, but they failed catastrophically, bending the teeth of the native mechanism. The fact that they are 'rated' at £9,000 is a joke. Someone will lose their life as a result or face a permanent disability. This company is careless and negligent.
