I wanted to test the heat as some people said this case gets very hot. So I ran this in 5 different CPU loads with my 4GB RPi4 and touched the case to see how the temp felt (very scientific). At first it was essentially the OS idle (Ubuntu) and the case felt slightly warm, just above ambient. It got a little warmer when using mostly one core, but I wouldn't call it hot. The two most used cores were slightly warmer, but still not very hot. Using three cores felt like a very hot shower, a bit uncomfortable but it wouldn't be a problem if I had to move it. The four kernels were almost 100% slightly toasted, if I had to carry them around for example it wouldn't be a problem, but I'd probably switch it between hands every now and then. I let it run like this for about an hour so I could see it getting even hotter. If you plan to run your RPi4 at almost 100%, get a case with a fan. For my purposes (tinkering with Ubuntu) this was perfect as I usually stay below 50% CPU at all times.
