Didn't work on my 2001 Duramax

I bought this because I had a barrel fuel pump installed and was advised to remove the OEM filter. Got it installed and got a code to check the engine for a serious fuel leak although there were no leaks. After a lot of fiddling with it, I finally installed the OEM filter and the truck worked fine. Absolutely no instructions (I don't think you'll need them). Didn't work on my 2001 GMC 2500 HD anyway.
