Review on CURT 11377 Class 1 Trailer Hitch: 1-1/4-Inch Receiver for Mazda 3 - Black by Carlito Tardy

On my 2015 Mazda 3 Hatchback, I noticed that the mounting holes are slightly different than those shown in the installation videos. The smaller front hole was capped on both sides while the rear ones were larger holes. You don't need a second person, but it can't hurt. Just install the bolts and wire plates and support the muffler as you lower it. Once the hitch is in place, the muffler brackets help hold it in place while you thread the cables through the mounting holes. Push it into place and one of the bolts will go through the hitch mounting holes. CAREFULLY remove wire one at a time and install nuts by hand. Once all 4 are engaged I suggest applying some red Loctite when tightening them up to 110 lbs. Mount the muffler back on the hangers and you're done. Installation took about 40 minutes, I'm not a pro.
