Review on ๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธ Sili-Brush: Silicone Glue Brush with Half Inch Tip - No Mess, Easy Clean-Up for Woodworking, Arts, Crafts, and Hobbyists by Pedro Curtis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

One of the best things to add to your workshop without spending hundreds.

I used the small black sponge brushes you can get at Walmart or any hobby store to apply glue to projects. However, they also absorb quite a bit of glue (even if you squeeze them) and I'm tired of seeing them sticking to my bins and other spots around the workshop. I started looking for a new way to apply glue when I found it. I wasn't sure if they would work well as I've tried other types of silicone brushes such as: B. Pastry brushes, which you can find in the grocery section of stores. The problem with these brushes is that they are designed for applying very thin sauces and not thicker liquids like glue. These brushes could mess things up by squeezing out more glue than smearing it and then cleaning was a pain. When I looked for another brush I saw that the bristles were a completely different design and I had to have them try out. I'm glad I did, they are stiff enough to spread glue but don't hold a ton of glue on the bristles. Once the brushes are dry you can simply wipe the glue off the bristles and they are ready for your next project. I also love that they have a scraper on the opposite end to scrape off any excess or whatever you have. They should be in your workshop.
