I would like to start by saying that I am a software engineer who has worked for Revain Web Services and is currently working for another cloud company. I have extensive technical knowledge and pity the average user who no doubt had an amazing nightmare buying that piece of crap, a router. I bought this router as part of a series of network upgrades I was doing at home. As I play a lot I thought the fact that it was game focused would be a great addition. I couldn't be more wrong. Enabling router features like QoS, Game Boost, VPN, Firewall, etc. blocks the router. This is especially bad when you're playing a competitive game in a video game and it crashes due to a lag. Adding an AiMesh router to my house was worse than pulling my teeth. I literally spent hours adding my RT-AC68U to this damn thing.3. It seems to be a problem with the Broadcom hardware inside, but one of my ports keeps dropping from 1000Mbps to 10Mbps.4. The support forums immediately banned me during the ASUS ROG Forums REGISTRATION process. Thinking it was some kind of big mistake, I tried signing up with my second email address. That too was immediately banned. There is no support and the router is very buggy. Such an expensive router should not have such problems. Do not buy this router.
