Ideal for on the go: Shaving Soap

Colonel Ichabod Konk's famous lime shaving soap, small and compact, made me buy it. I travel often, often without checking in my luggage. Using this type of shaving soap prevents fewer airport security problems. On many long overseas flights, I try to clean up before disembarking. A good close shave improves my overall mood and experience when passing through the port of entry. After cleaning the sink on the plane with disinfectant wipes for about 3 minutes, I can shave normally, so I arrive fresh. I understand that many users of this soap will prefer to use a shaving bowl. and brush. Sufficient foam can also be achieved without a brush and bowl, but this requires more patience and hot water. For the price I paid, I get a 2.25 ounce bar of glycerine soap, a plastic container, and a sticker. Obviously, at some point this product built a reputation for keeping customers happy with it. I am a new customer and while I enjoyed shaving with this soap I felt I paid too much. The lime scent was faint and not overpowering at all - I like it. If you're new to this type of shaving soap, I encourage you to experiment in a few different ways before making a judgment. Many will advocate using a shaving bowl and shaving brush, and that's fine. Just know that you're more likely to make the soapy cake disappear faster with these big boar hair brushes.
