It works but the connection wires and ground wire are too short

So I got the product to survive Hurricane Dorian. I tested the product before the hurricane. Hooking it up was fairly easy and provided backup power for a fridge, fan, LCD TV, lamps and several cell phones. So I'm satisfied with the product. I tried making a cup of coffee (kerig), it worked, but I had to disconnect all other connections as it just sent the power meter almost to yellow. But as soon as the water warmed up as expected, the power meter dropped. So it worked. With a continuous output of 1400W, coffee machines consume a lot of energy. Since the machine was running all the time, I wasn't too worried, I'm draining the battery. Based on rough calculations/load estimates (W and Amps) I felt my alternator could handle the load. Bottom line - it definitely works, is reasonably priced, and supplies the bare essentials you want. To protect your gear, you need to know your alternator wattage, car battery wattage, and appliance wattage to make sure you don't break anything. cable, but you must! You absolutely need longer cables and a ground wire to protect the inverter from the elements. Oh, and you need long extension cords! To protect your equipment, you need to know the performance of your alternator, the performance of your car battery and the performance of your devices to ensure that you don't break anything. cable, but you must!
