As with many cat owners, the choice of cat litter types is very limited and most stores in my area are plastic. I love buying 40 pound containers because it's easy to get what you need out of them, but hate throwing away containers even when they say they're recyclable because they're so big. I like that it's the same amount but in a paper bag instead of a plastic bag. I now keep one of the large plastic bins and fill it up with paper bins as needed. I admit that bags are heavy and not as easy to carry as plastic bags with a handle, but I feel better about doing my part for the environment.
