Item comes in good packaging, nothing damaged. Instructions are clear, all parts present and you only need a few tools for install as pictured. The hardest part is the fact you're standing on a ladder to reach the ceiling. I'm a 5'3 Woman and installed this product alone, only needed assistance lifting the kayak up. I recently moved into a home with a single car garage and fitting all the family tools, stuff, gym equipment, etc in there has been a real project. Very glad to get the kayak up and away into the unused space above the door!
