Review on MAGT Instrument Waterproof Vibration Accessory by Brian Batiste

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not a bad cheap option, but some improvements could be made.

I read mixed reviews about this product and decided to buy it. This is a good option for waterproofing the display, but it could use some serious tweaks. First, the "film" used is exactly the film. As such, it is prone to cracking, tearing, etc., just like the rubber that makes up the rest of the tread. It's a bit dark, but the display is still visible. The best upgrade for this would be to replace the film with a clear plexiglass or similar protector that is used in touchscreens everywhere. This still offers water resistance and gives the lid an overall quality improvement. The second problem with this cover. that it doesn't fit exactly, so they include these very cheap adhesive strips that are designed to fit into the rubber edges and stick to the scooter instrument panel itself. The problem is that the glue is very weak and hardly sticks, especially at higher temperatures. Since the rubber is not dense, the entire cover comes off very easily when you pick up speed. A smaller design or even the transition from rubber to neoprene will help secure this cover around the dashboard and avoid the problems listed above. If you need a case urgently this will do, but I would spend your money on a higher rated product.
