Stronger than expected
I bought this because I didn't want to scratch the marble baking board. I was afraid it would be too small and flimsy. This is no small thing at all. It's about an inch shorter than my metal scraper (I would have liked it to be a bit longer) and has a slight crease on the working edge (it's not flat, for example: when the left side is against the cutting board, the right side (5 in ) will be at 1mm from the board). Won't hit your wooden board as hard as a metal board.
