Review on MIKEDE Strong Neodymium Disc Magnets, 16 Pack Powerful Permanent Rare Earth Magnets With Double-Sided Adhesive, Fridge, DIY, Building, Scientific, Craft, And Office Magnets, 1.26 Inch D X 1/8 Inch H by Steven Asthana

All, I repeat, ALL Neodymium magnets are fragile.

First, these are great and quite strong for their size. Also, double sided tape isn't magical, sand both surfaces a little first and then try. If that still doesn't work, use epoxy (sanding first is key with either option). The important part -Ignore every low review that says they shattered. There is no brand of Neodymium magnets that won't chip or shatter when you let them snap together. They are ALL fragile.Slide them together slowly and you should be fine. Just know, at some point you're probably going to chip them.Regarding the videos of them sliding down the side of a fridge: you have two super smooth surfaces against each other, where there's a lack of friction, there will be sliding. Get some paper sticker sheets and stick them to the magnet so that there's some grip.It was irritating reading all those reviews and seeing the pictures. I NEVER write reviews. On this, I just had to set the record straight. Maddening!

Pros
  • The magnets are versatile and can be used for both personal and professional applications
Cons
  • The magnets may not work well on non-metallic surfaces
