I had a scotch stick and thought these sponges would work but they don't. So I worked with what I have, filled the handle with soap and hit the sink. He wiped and cleaned and put his wand away. I was at the sink a few hours later and all the soap had spilled out of the lid onto the plate it was in. The convenience of the wand is largely negated as it doesn't hold the soap between washes, so I just use soap from a bottle and a scrubbing stick.
