Don't let the price fool you - this is a quality basic amp.

I am very impressed with this little amp. The first thing I check on any "cheap" electronics is the solder joints. Budget boards have badly routed cold junctions, cracked solder joints, half knocked out SMT resistors, etc. 99.9999% of the time. This board is assembled with INCREDIBLE quality. All pads have nice shiny solder joints, everything is assembled with precision and the board is a nice thick multilayer board. No cold joints, no lumps, no accidental bridges. The board assembly is in no way inferior to the big players (ASUS, MSI, etc.). This thing looks like it was built in a wave pool. The components are budget yet powerful choices. The board itself is screen printed with almost all the necessary data (only one thing is missing - the voltage range and polarity listed on the product page here on AMZN). The BT connection is quick and easy, the AUX jack works with no crackling (basically it just means it's clean, but I've had Apple products with dirty jacks right out of the box), the audio quality is actually a little* better than expected. on BT, even with my old realistic crowbar speakers (patio sound), and the AUX is clean, crisp, with no discernible flat spots (except for the usual low-frequency quirks of high-impedance speakers). And it comes with two plexiglass covers. Most of these products are blank circuit boards that cannot be used without first making some sort of improvised case. I wanted to print a clamshell case to slip under my patio table, but the circuit board layout and build quality is so good I don't want to cover the plexiglass top. It deserves a window that shows quality work (I don't think I could make solder joints that good myself, and I'm a perfectionist). This would easily be a five star product, but for two issues: the lack of documentation and that sound for BT activation and pairing. The lack of documentation can be forgiven as the board is shielded with most of the parts you'll need, while the product page here at AMZN has a full breakdown of everything in one of the images (this should really be moved to the description.) . However, this voice is sample.eeesh. I absolutely don't blame the audio source for not being a native English speaker - English is actually quite charming and they definitely make an effort. However, the beeps are tied directly to the amp's volume setting, which means that if you're listening to loud music one day and later come back and re-sync, the voice SHOUTS about the connection status. There's also no way to disable BT if you don't want to hear the charming but deafeningly loud voice. My answer? Just leave the amp on all the time and don't use BT at all (the voice clip will only play on power on and successful sync). A simple LED indicator showing BT connection status would have been better than voice prompts, but that doesn't bother. Really impressed with this little amp. You can make it cheaper, but it won't be as pretty. I could have spent more money but it wouldn't have sounded better (for a simple little 50wX2 amp). This is an almost perfect product as delivered. If there are any problems in the future I will update this review. However, I can only think of the Evercon Caps. Even if they do, desoldering the old ones and installing the new Chemi-Con parts is a 15 minute job. thumbs up from me
