The main reason I bought this helmet was to trim bushes and small trees with a lot of poison ivy. I wanted something that would keep urushiol oil (the part of poison ivy that causes rashes) off my face and neck. The helmet mesh is thin enough to protect against splashing urushiol flying out of the chainsaw. The mesh may be too thin to limit visibility, but it does the job. Pros: The helmet feels solid. The protective grille protects well against small flying debris. The headphones cut decibiles from a chainsaw well enough to protect your hearing well Cons: The mesh face shield is so thin it restricts vision and obscures everything around you. The earbuds are positioned so that when connected to the helmet, they squeak when lowered (which is why I'm leaving them flipped). To press the button you have to take off your helmet. Headphones are worn on the ears, they are easily removed. The instructions were limited to blurry images. For limited use I need them, this helmet can be better value than more established brands. That being said, I haven't tried either Stihl or Husqvarna helmets.
